Abu Dhabi Airport announces the official opening date of the new Terminal "A"
Abu Dhabi International Airport announced today the official date for the launch of the Etihad Airways celebratory flight on October 31st, officially operating in Terminal A on November 1st of this year.

He added that Wizz Air Abu Dhabi and fifteen other international airlines are scheduled to begin operations from the new building on the first of this November, according to the official website of the Abu Dhabi Government Media Office, and the transfer process will take place in three stages during the next two weeks.
Number of daily flights inside Terminal A at Abu Dhabi International Airport:
On November 9, Etihad Airways will begin operating 16 flights daily, and on November 14, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi will operate with 10 other airlines at full capacity from its new headquarters. As of Tuesday, November 14, the business will operate normally inside Terminal A at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Capacity of the new building “A”:
This will be the first airport in the world to use all nine biometric touchpoints. The building itself has an area of more than 35,000 square meters, making it one of the largest airports in the world. Self-service baggage claim, electronic gates for immigration procedures, passports, and boarding gates are just a few examples of the places where Biometric technologies will be implemented in the first phase, and passenger waiting times will be reduced by half once facial recognition technology is implemented and fully operational.
The addition of the new structure will help strengthen Abu Dhabi's position as a global tourism and trade hub and the project will double the airport's capacity to approximately 45 million people annually.
