Cases of granting employees in the UAE the professional bonus
There have been instances in the UAE where workers have been awarded the professional bonus, Cabinet Resolution No. (48) of 2023, which addressed the executive rules of Federal Decree Law No. (49) of 2022 governing human resources in the federal government, specified two different forms of professional bonuses for citizen federal government employees. These bonuses were given to individuals who had attained a certain level of professional achievement. The first one is called the "academic qualification bonus," and it states that a citizen worker is eligible for a monthly allowance for a master's degree or doctoral degree and their equivalent, with a total of 1,000 dirhams for a master's degree and 2,000 dirhams for a doctorate degree, provided that the academic degree is appropriate for the type of work that the worker does.

In addition, the citizen employee must have distinguished technical skills. Or, he possesses exceptional technical talent, which enables him to hold technical, specialized, or professional positions, and that he is engaged in the performance of technical, specialized, or professional work within the organization for which he is employed. In the event that he moves into a supervisory role relating to those technical works, he will continue to receive this incentive even if the payment is halted; however, the bonus will not be increased. In the event that any of the requirements to earn it are not satisfied, you will be eligible for this bonus. In the event that the employee is transferred, seconded, or seconded full-time to a position whose occupant is not entitled to this incentive, as well as in the event that he takes any paid absence that is longer than three months, it comes to an end.
