A number of flights to and from Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV) will be reduced starting this Friday, as operated by Emirates, a prominent airline situated in Dubai. There will now only be one daily round-trip flight, with the flight numbers EK933/934. Starting on October 13th, this change will remain in force until October 31st, 2023.
Emirates has cited operational reasons for this change and emphasized their continued monitoring of the situation in Israel. They are in close contact with relevant authorities to stay informed about ongoing developments. Given the dynamic nature of the situation, Emirates is actively reviewing all factors.
The airline has also informed travelers who will be impacted by these changes to get in touch with their booking agents. They can explore alternative flight itineraries or seek refunds. Importantly, Emirates has waived change and cancellation charges for tickets issued on or before October 11, 2023, with travel dates until November 30, 2023.
Flydubai's Flight Consolidation
Flydubai, which ordinarily operates four return flights daily, is also making adjustments to its daily services to and from Israel, spanning more than two weeks. Starting from October 13 until October 31, Flydubai will consolidate its flight schedule to Ben Gurion Airport (TLV). During this period, the airline will operate two daily flights, identified as FZ 1549/1550 and FZ 1209/1210.
Flydubai is actively monitoring the situation and maintaining communication with relevant authorities to stay informed about ongoing developments.
Affected passengers are encouraged to get in touch with the Flydubai contact center in Dubai at (+971) 600 54 44 45, visit the Flydubai travel shop, or contact their individual travel agents to discuss rebooking or refund possibilities. It is intended that this will provide passengers more leeway and comfort when they venture out during this time of transition.
