Authorized Use and Restrictions
The newly launched emblem is now authorized for usage in all government buildings, publications, and online platforms, as well as at all official functions. This emblem may also be used by private organizations, but only after receiving permission from the Ruler of Dubai or his delegate.
Penalties for Improper Use
The law strictly regulates the use of the emblem, and any improper use can result in significant penalties. Violators may face imprisonment ranging from three months to five years, along with fines ranging from Dh100,000 to Dh500,000.
Transition Period for Individuals
Individuals who have been using the emblem in any capacity must discontinue its use within 30 days, unless they have obtained prior approval to continue using it. Government entities and those with explicit permission to use the emblem are exempt from this requirement.
Implementation
The Chairman of Dubai's Ruler Court is responsible for issuing rulings that put the law into effect. The law becomes effective on the date it is published in the Official Gazette.
