With the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on visa exemption, the Emirates and Bosnia and Herzegovina have made an important step toward enhancing their bilateral relations. This action was taken in order to facilitate travel between the two countries. The Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries, which was signed on November 6th, 2023, aims to encourage and facilitate travel, trade, and people-to-people relations between the two countries.
Possibility of traveling from the UAE to Bosnia and Herzegovina without a visa
Citizens of the United Arab Emirates and Bosnia and Herzegovina who have valid passports can now travel visa-free for tourism, business, and short-term visits thanks to the memorandum of understanding between the two countries. It is anticipated that this exception will promote cultural understanding between the two countries, encourage economic progress, and strengthen tourism between both countries.
Agreement between the UAE and Bosnia and Herzegovina
Attendees included Zlatan Burzi, the Director of the office of the Bosnian Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mirela Bubalo, Counsellor for the Bosnian Minister of Foreign Affairs. The agreement was signed by Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Elmedin Konakovi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Both parties emphasized the significance of the MOU in terms of furthering the development of bilateral relations.
