The UAE allows issuing an entry visa for 250 dirhams for residents of these countries only

After the recent decision regarding the unified tourist visa to enter the United Arab Emirates and a number of neighboring countries, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in the Emirates allowed the issuance of entry visas to residents and their companions from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries for only 250 dirhams, in addition to the value-added tax, which reaches a rate of 5%. .

Tourist entry visa for 30 days, extendable once

It is worth noting that this service, which was officially launched and announced through the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship and Ports Security, and the General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, enables a foreigner residing in one of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to obtain a tourist entry visa to the Emirati lands as a visitor for a period not exceeding 30 days, and this visa Extendable for one time only.

Requirements for issuing an entry visa for residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council

1- A valid passport or travel document to enter the UAE.

2- A copy of the residence permit or an electronic extract, provided that the address and validity of the residence are clearly stated.

3- The personal photo must be on a white background.

Steps for issuing a tourist entry visa to the UAE from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries

1- Log in to the official website from here (smart.gdrfad.gov.ae)

2- Log in as a user.

3- Choose the service to be performed.

4- Write the required data accurately in the appropriate spaces.

5- Pay the fees required to issue a tourist entry visa to the Emirates.

6- Agree to the terms and conditions, and then you will receive a message containing your entry visa via email.

Entry visa issuance fees for residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai explained that the fees for the entry visa management service for residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council amount to about 252 UAE dirhams, in addition to a 5% value-added tax.

Conditions for issuing an entry visa for residents of the UAE from the Gulf Cooperation Council

1- It is required that the resident who wishes to enter the Emirates has not previously been prevented from entering the Emirates.

2- It is also required that the validity of the resident’s passport be no less than 6 months.

3- It is also required that the resident have a residence permit of no less than one year.

4- It is also required that the profession be clear and within the approved professions for issuance of an entry visa, with emphasis being made that it is subject to evaluation by the relevant authorities.

Increasing the number of incoming flights to the GCC countries

It is worth noting that the UAE Minister of Economy, Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, indicated during one of the previous press statements to Skynewsarabia that the Gulf tourism strategy aims to increase the number of incoming trips to the GCC countries at an annual rate of 7%.

He pointed out that the number of visitors to the Gulf countries in 2022 reached about 39.8 million visitors, with a growth rate of about 136.6% compared to the previous year 2021, and the UAE aims to reach 128.7 million visitors by the year 2030.
