Providing low-income people with free housing in Umm Al Quwain
Free housing is being made available to persons with low incomes in Umm Al Quwain, The Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation in Umm Al Quwain has established the requirements for residents of the emirate who have a low income to be eligible for free housing. This comes as the Foundation, in cooperation with Dubai Islamic Bank, has begun the process of implementing a project to build 16 housing units worth 10 million dirhams for families in the Oud Al Tayer area of the emirate. These units are intended for households with children. Citizenship for someone with a low income.
Conditions for obtaining free housing in Umm Al Quwain
The requirements needed to qualify for free housing in Umm Al Quwain, The institution stated that a person applying for housing must fulfill the following requirements in order to be considered: the applicant must be a citizen of the country; he must possess a family book that was issued by the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain; the applicant's passport must be issued by the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain; and the applicant's family must have at least four members. The applicant must have a low income and cannot have previously received housing assistance from any other entity, whether it be on a federal or local level or in any other emirate. A female citizen who is married to a foreigner has the right to apply for housing, and after housing is obtained, the applicant is expected to pay 3,000 AED yearly for maintenance services for air conditioning equipment in the residence. This obligation is only applicable to applicants who are married to foreigners.
