Tragic Accident in UAE as 17-year-old Indian boy fell to death from a building
Tragically, a 17-year-old kid from Kerala, India, a southern state, died in Ajman after falling from the building where he lived. Community members are still in disbelief after Monday morning's shocking event. The Ajman Police Department was notified of the boy's death shortly after discovering his corpse.
Tragic Death of a 17-Year-Old Indian Boy in Ajman
The young man was a senior at the Global Indian School in Ajman and had a bright career ahead of him. He and his family had been attending a community function at the local church the night before the tragedy struck. The community is devastated and baffled by the lack of information on the events leading up to his untimely fall.
Repatriation to India
The grief-stricken family is currently in the process of repatriating the boy's body to India, where they plan to hold the funeral. Social worker Ashraf Thamarassery commented on the preparations, saying, "We are in the process of getting the formalities done and paperwork ready." Once the necessary arrangements are completed, the boy's remains will be flown to India to give him a proper farewell.
Family Left in Mourning
The young boy is still living with his parents and two younger sisters. His father is an entrepreneur, while his mother works as a nurse in Dubai. The tragic loss has cast a pall of grief over the entire family and the local Indian community in Ajman.
A Recurring Tragedy
Sadly, this is not the first such tragic incident involving young individuals in the UAE. Earlier this year, a 12-year-old girl fell to her death in Dubai while her mother was at work and her father was in India.
In a separate incident last year, a 16-year-old boy lost his life while skateboarding on the top floor of a seven-story car park in the Al Taawun area. These incidents serve as a stark reminder of the importance of safety measures and vigilance, especially when it comes to the welfare of young people in the community.
