Urgent.. Abu Dhabi Police warns citizens and residents of a fine of 1,000 dirhams in this case
The Abu Dhabi Police have issued a warning over the act of disposing rubbish from vehicles onto the road while driving. This action is in accordance with Article (71) of the penalty Law, which imposes a fine of 1,000 dirhams and assigns six penalty points to individuals found guilty of this offense.
During the "Our City is Beautiful" event, organized by the Abu Dhabi City Municipality, the speaker emphasized the importance of responsible waste disposal among drivers. She encouraged them to actively promote positive behaviors, such as alerting their passengers to dispose of garbage and waste in designated areas. Furthermore, she emphasized the significance of considering environmental safety and public health when engaging in such practices.
Brigadier Mahmoud Yousef Al Balushi, the Director of the Traffic and Patrols Directorate, emphasized the Abu Dhabi Police's commitment to improving traffic safety for members of the community. He highlighted that the Directorate has taken steps to raise traffic awareness among families and children during the event, while also cautioning them about the potential hazards associated with the use of electric bicycles (scooters) on public roads.

The police department emphasizes its commitment to ongoing endeavors aimed at educating road users about the need of refraining from uncivilized conduct that not only harms the environment but also detracts from the overall civilized ambiance.
The Abu Dhabi Police emphasized the need of using turn signals adequately while changing lanes, avoiding sudden signaling that may startle other drivers, ensuring that signals are activated in advance of the intended action, and utilizing vehicle signals when decelerating or altering the vehicle's trajectory.
